Welcome

Welcome!

Happy New Year! I’m sure you, as most Americans, are hoping that 2009 will be a great year, even better than 2008. We are too. We’re hopeful that lower interest rates will re-ignite the home resale market so that many of you patiently waiting a sale will be able to start enjoying your well-deserved retirement.

You may be thinking about starting the building process only to find that your build budget has decreased by one-third or more. You may now be looking to build a smaller home or eliminate some of the extras you once saw as necessities. You may be questioning what you can build for your new budget.

That’s where we come in - that’s where we are best equipped to help. Our reputation has always been that we build the highest quality homes in the area. What message has not been conveyed as widely is that we do it within your budget - whatever that may be.

In each step of the building process, there are many choices that add up to the total cost of your home. With over 350 custom homes of all sizes, shapes, styles and finishes in our portfolio and decades of developed supplier and subcontractor relationships, we know where to utilize your dollars to get you the most for the least amount of money possible.

This issue has several articles focused in this area: Big Ideas for Smaller Spaces, Tax Credits for Green Building, and to continue our series "From the Ground Up," Kitchens: the Heart of the Home.

I hope you enjoy reading this edition. Please call us if you have any questions.

Happy reading!
