Meet the Newton's

Grand Harbor

Year built: 2003

After living in Hong Kong, the Newton’s designed and built a home that would showcase their collection of Asian art and antique furniture. High ceilings and dramatic archways draw your eye around and upward to view the artifacts throughout their home.

Per the Newton's request and because of the extensive use of tile throughout, their home is the largest we have ever built on a concrete slab foundation. The Newton’s and their six pets (3 dogs and 3 cats) enjoy their life at the lake without the worry of wear and tear on hardwood floors and carpet. The "dorm" and bath over the garage is an ideal private suite for guests and family. Windows everywhere provide fabulous views of Lake Greenwood.

Please visit our website for the full tour. You can also visit the Newton home in person on May 1st and 2nd. Their home will be one of four in Grand Harbor and The Plantation open for touring from 10:00 to 4:00 each day at the Grand Harbor Charity Home Tour. Tickets are available at $15.00 in advance by calling 543-4566 or $20.00 at the door.

You can view photos of the interior and exterior in the Gallery section of our web site. Visit the Newton Gallery...
