JBH Subcontractor Team Meeting

A custom home builder is only as good as the subcontractors who help build the home.

We are proud of the fact that a majority of our subcontractors have been with us a long time, some as long as 20 years. They know the level of quality we expect, and that we appreciate both their expertise and their input in suggesting improvements.

To emphasize the importance of teamwork, we meet regularly with our subcontractors to talk about upcoming projects, reinforce neighborhood guidelines, and to allow them time to talk with each other and share ideas. Thus, as they are on-site and see a change that could be made in their own or another subcontractor area, they are more comfortable making the suggestion because they know it will be well-received and given adequate consideration.

Joining us at our recent meeting were subcontractor representatives for all of the following trades: Foundation/Footings, Framing, Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall, Trim, Landscaping, Cabinets, Stone mason, Brick mason, Siding, Concrete Finishing and Decorating.

When you interview builders, it’s important to ask the questions - "How long have your subcontractors worked on your homes?" Long term relationships most often equate with quality workmanship and a teamwork attitude.

When we finish your home, we supply you with a list of the subcontractors who built your home, their contact numbers and warranty information.
