ROOFING - All of our roofs are ventilated with continuous ridge vent and soffit to assure long life for your shingles and lower heat retention in attic spaces. We use only 30 pound roofing felt instead of 15 pound felt underneath all roofing shingle applications. This reduces the possibility of future water infiltration and helps ensure the integrity of the roof sheathing during construction and inclement weather. We also use Moisture Guard rolled roofing in all valleys to lessen the chance of leaks in these areas over time. INSULATION - All of our homes are insulated with both batt and blown insulation (R-13 or R-15 in the exterior walls, R-19 in the floors and R-30 or better in the ceilings). We sound proof key interior walls for noise reduction around plumbing pipes and bedrooms. All penetrations in the top and bottom sill plates are filled with expandable foam and caulked to the sub floor.
